Dallas resident Rudy Baum was born in Germany, moved to the U.S. in the 1930's, was later drafted into the Army and helped liberate the Buchenwald Concentration Camp in World War II. His perspective as a Jewish liberator is unique. He is photographed here at his residence, the Edgemere retirement community in Dallas, TX.
